Even thought I’m a former athlete and veteran Army infantryman, throughout my life weight is something I struggled with.
Being obese and more than 100 pounds overweight, unfit, and in pain was not how I saw my life going.
I had been thin and very fit but now I wasn’t, what changed was my mindset to have to change it like there was no other alternative.

Realistically, yes its possible but what is the rush?
I understand that life is hectic and fast paced but we need to take a healthy approach.
Any step someone can take when they decide to make a healthy choice is a good one.
You can do it in “a month” but my real suggestion is you try 3 months.
Just extend your expectations for a little longer so that you can achieve it while you enjoy learning and figuring out how to make it sustainable.
Develop better habits over a longer time so that you don’t mentally get discouraged or burned out.
If you push to hard and quit this is hat we want to avoid.
Life is never perfect things take time but you can do this as long as you stay on the journey to improvement
It’s about sustainability and mentally being able to keep going.
Packing it all into a month will be a great experience but realize that you will need to start as soon as possible and jump right in.
No cheat meals or going out, no alcohol watching everything single thing you eat.
How Many Calories Do I Need To Burn
Ok some math for fun, 1 pounds of fat is 3,500 calories.
15 pounds would then be 52,500 calories you need to burn in access in 30 days.
Men on average say burn 2,500 calories a day 75,000 a month
Women burn say 2100, 63000 in a months.
If you work out 4 days a week at 400 calories per workout that’s 6,400 a month.
Try 5 workouts a week at 500 calories you can make that 10,000.
Then minus the workouts from the total calories need to be lost 52,500-10,000= 42,500.
42,500 is the number we now have to shoot for in calories restriction from eating.
With workouts already taken out off of the top number of calories burnt we are left with.
42,500/30 days= 1,416
2,500-1,416=1,084 a day
2,100-1,416=684 a day
This is how many calories you would technical have to restrict and that just isn’t really an entirely healthy idea.
Like I said it can and has been done but its suggested that we don’t eat less than 1,300 a day.
I will also say that when I was eating extremely low calories in the beginning your metabolism starts to slow.
The body is smart and it knows what’s it doing if you are eating tiny amounts of food its will shock it so stay consistent and eat don’t crash diet.
How To Lose 15 Pounds In 3 Months
My suggestion is work as hard as possible the first month to show yourself how much you can really do and lose.
After you begin and start to realize what’s working I say go after it for two more months.
You will attain more knowledge, experience, and confidence and it will make all this stuff easy.
You wont have to live felling like you can’t control you physical health and you don’t know how, you’ll have the power to be able to control it.
With just the basics you can have almost any body you want it just takes better nutrition and some basic knowledge while moving the body.
