This blog stemmed from my personal journey and battle with obesity.
Millions of other’s suffer from the same or other related diet diseases.
Because of this my life plan and job is to help others.

We have gotten so use to being able to “buy a new one” but when its come to our body we only have one.
Like restoring an old creaky house or a classic vehicle, they need tender love and care.
We need love and care from the life that we live to the foods that we eat.
Its gonna take more than just a “new part” or a “replacement” we are gonna need nature’s help.

The pain I’ve felt might be similar to yours.

Ignoring Natural Balance Health
I was mad at myself, so extraordinarily embarrassed and with inflammation of my joints.
Who was I?
Definitely not the “man in the mirror” I wanted to see everyday, seriously how could this happen?
Another person stuck in a body that was weak and tired, heavy and painful.
Obesity! It could have controlled my life, and to be honest I guess it actually did for most of my life.
No matter what age or activity level somehow my body always tended to hold on to extra weight.
How Bad Is It….
Remember that this starts with bad health but nature has the answer we are looking for.
Changing these habits is what I’m all about.

Never being or knowing how to take care of my health was terrible.

The Opposite Of Organic Health And Wellness
I was always being ridiculed all the time, people made up nick names for me because I was fat.
They would always stand on their soap boxes talking down to me.
I always though “O yeah” somehow that make you special or better than me..?

People us your pain and misfortune as a way to boost the way they feel about themselves.
It hard to understand at a young age because you no idea why I was bigger.
Growing up being “bigger” was hard as anyone would expect or has experienced.
When your just a kid its nearly impossible to wrap your head around the complex world of “nutrition”.
It not even like I could cook for myself or buy the things need to do so!
85 percent of groceries stores are process “food like products”.
Because I live in America “the western diet” is how we eat.
My parents feed us what we liked to eat so no fault of theirs.
My personal experience with it and others will show you how its possible to take control of our health.
How Does This Happen…
The worse the diet is for us the more the body can become damaged and prone to disease.
Once I started eating “whole food”, “plant based”, “natural”, “non-toxics” foods my life changed.
Thousands of others have the same stories so can you!
My Natural Health And Wellness Story Begins
I’d begun playing football from the beginning of middle school for the next 7 years.
In the offseason I would strength train and condition.
I knew even as a kid I liked it because it made me feel food and I knew my body needed it.
Wellness means the state of being in good health, especially as an actively pursued goal.
This is what I was doing but only the beginning and only half of the puzzle.
Getting regular exercise helps us:
- Controls Weight
- Good For Muscles And Bones
- Improves Moods
- Promotes Better Sleep
- Exercise Combats Health Conditions And Diseases
Starting into adulthood I had the idea to decide to joined the US Army Infantry.
I continuing spending 6 years serving my country.
Soon after joining the US Military, I’d be deployed to combat operation in Iraq as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
I am proud to be a veteran of the US Military and hope that it can help you related to some more to me.
I’ll ever regretting the decisions I’d made because it taught me more wellness techniques.
Natural Health And Wellness….For Now…
After years of building and creating through sheer will power, I was able to finally transformed my body into an instrument of function.
I had lost the weight!
The calm comes before the storm. Little did I know, this was nearly the beginning of this drama.
No longer was I shrouded by a “bulky fat body”.
I was confident and sure this was under control and wouldn’t be a problem ever again.
Sure I was “confident” but didn’t have the knowledge needed to maintain this.
I was eating mostly whatever and was so unaware of what was “healthy” or not.
Because I was so busy during these physical activates I was just eating as fuel.
I was trying to be more health conscious but still had no real idea the damage and danger of “fake” foods on human health.
All the food on todays shelves are man made.
Most of our bodies don’t even know what they’re.
The only reason I was able to lose weight was because of my activity levels.
What I’d forgot about was diet and this is where we will see a massive mistake.

Natural Health And Wellness is what we all need to ingest daily.
A way of eating that fits our lifestyle and promotes balance health and wellness.
Over time this is a diet and supplement program that is sustainable.

Un-Natural Health And No Wellness
It took a lot of hard work, more than words can properly convey.
The amount of work put in to battle my weight issues with a sub par diet was insane.
I had 15 years of training my body so of course I had it “figured out”.
But when I turned my back and neglecting my diet and exercise things got really bad.
I believe in something so much that the second I though I was ok, I lost my way.
To keep the body in good health is a duty… otherwise we shall not be able to keep our mind strong and clear.
My life was about to become a disaster a “silent killer” that no one could have seen coming.
It’s not possible to blame anyone or anything else, this is all my doing.
When you are at the top, sometimes, the only way is down.
I missing a vital portion of data and something I had not accounted for.
I was neglecting my diet and was still not that knowledgeable of what to eat or the justifications of doing so.
Much of this is actually me making mistakes if you can’t tell.
The best part about this is you can learn from me and learn now to not make them like I did.
“Chaos” Is A Cruel Mistress

Chaos sometimes displays what you’re doing wrong.
It was actually my teacher.
At some time or age, in life, a wrench is thrown in the gears.
I was about to go on holiday with chaos.
Having just got out of the military and putting sports on the back burner I’d launched myself into college.
After that I dove head first into a career.
Anyone can understand that when you’re focused on certain things sometimes others suffer.
I made other things a priority unseeing that my diet and training suffering.
I thought that for “right now” I would just work and see what happens.
Murphy’s law was about to start running rampant.
All my discipline to never want to be overweight again was gone and now I was.

It was probably little more than a year and a half I had started putting on the weight fast.
I felt rotten!
300 pounds, unhappy, overweight, physical and emotional pain.

Most things in life we don’t have that much control over but diet is one of them.
I’d let go completely not just physical health but even all my prior hard work.
My mental disciplines disappeared into nothing.
It took me all these years, literally years to get fit eating whatever I desired.
No longer did I have that time or those options anymore.

The days of being obese from my childhood were over but I was still not as thin as most.

The “Un-Natural” Side Of (The-Biz)
Businesses needs to make profit which is completely fine, but as consumers we’re the ones suffering.
They’re obligated as a business and to shareholder to make profit.
That means better tasting foods sold to more people.
As many people as is possible.
Better tasting, longer shelf life “food like” products are then created to fill this gap.
80 percent of foods in groceries stores are processed “food-like” products make out of a lab.
Looks at this small list of 15 petrochemical additives in our foods today.
In doing so they’ve created foods that are detrimental to our health and wellbeing.
Not knowing or understanding we become trapped in a cycle of eating these food and them damaging us.
Everyone please understand we are not trapped.

300 Pounds How Could I Do This!?
Being 300 pounds was nota part of natural health and wellness.
Thanks Captain Obvious..
It was more like the opposite to be honest.
26 years of age weighting 301 pounds, ummm.. what?
It started because I’d abandoned my disciplines a slow trip down a slippery slope.
It took no time at all to gain that weight back.
When I was a healthful my weight sat at about 195 pounds.
That is 105 pounds gained!
At this point it was unbelievable even to me!
I’d stopped working hard for football and quit performing in the military.
Eating out and never getting the food I knew I needed.
Stopped training physically and started eating all these foods I knew weren’t good for me.
This wasn’t smart and its what got me here.
Sick And Tired
Instead of feeling 26 I’d felt 46.
Pain in my joints at 26 was not what I had planned for life.
Being overweight dispute all my knowledge I couldn’t lose the weight.
Through middle school between sports and training for them, I didn’t have time to eat.
In the military it was easy to, three squares a day and sleep.
Probably burning over 4000 calories a day like it mattered?
Life is not that easy or predictable anymore.
Never having the time or schedule we’ll wish we had.
I need a different approach and one that would get me away from this life, fast.
All the worlds most amazing foods around 24/7 whenever and whatever.
This blessing can also be a curse.
With all the stresses we’ve face in life sometimes our health can take a side-line.
My purpose is to help people never face this because our health is all we have!
The Best Part….
Understanding Solutions For Health And Wellness
Most of us understand what is “good” for our health and what “isn’t”.
We a know that fruits and vegetables are better for you then ice-cream or pizza.
Its hard because when you feel hungry these foods are just to delicious not to eat.
Anyone can understand how challenging it can be to balance proper nutrition.
It’s even harder to have an exercise program you enjoy as well.
It wasn’t just my body suffering, another concern was my mind.
You gained all this weight again and stopped training!
I was beside myself and still in disbelief.
Struggling with this as a kid as well as a young adult.
Fighting it for most of my adult life winning this war of attrition, now I was defeated.
Defeated by myself and down it felt like nothing could really bring me back to life.
Searching for more I found more and that is what changed my life and health but that isn’t all.
Half my life was spent healthy the other half was not.
Always being able to perform physical tasks with ease.
Looking and feeling great all the time.
All those years of hard work, fitness, and weight loss slipped through my fingers.
To be honest I felt worse physically but being mentally defeated still hurt deep.
Sitting around depressed.
Zero exercise, eating comfort foods, a one way ticket to my failure.
I’d used to exercise to feel better before, go for a run or pump some iron, get that iron therapy going.
Instead sat around unhealthy, eating to my demise, fatter then ever.
Sick, tired, uncomfortable all the time, lethargic never wanting to do anything.
Ok like when are you gonna do something about this?
I would ask myself that question a lot and the answer was obvious something had to be done.
Make Sure You Never Give Up On Health
I was 301 pounds but 3 years later I was no longer.
By now I had fought another war with myself after the many I’d lost and been through before.
Like in real war where in you must first know yourself before you can not fear the enemy I was no longer afraid.
We had used knowledge as a weapon I had fought sharpening my weapons of knowledge.
Knowledge is power and this is the weapon you’ll use to fight.
I’m able to set at my goal weight happy and healthy for the past 2 years.
After battling myself for half of my life I finally understood my enemy and what I needed to so.
Now I had the power to never fail again and the weapons to fend off my attacker.
The things the internet taught me about nutrition in that amount of time made it impossible for me to not share these discoveries you.
It also gave me the power to lose that 110 pounds so that I could get fitter then I was during any other time of my life.
Staying On Track
Almost everything we’ve eaten contributes to our physical and mental statues.
It does not have to be body fat like in my case.

The internet provides so many options for people like us.
It doesn’t matter age, skin color, current weight, ethnicity, or country you’re from.

In my case its obese, depressed, and miserable.

Cheap, easy, affordable is what we “want” but it’s comes at an extreme cost.
Losing weight takes more than force and physical exercise.
Fitness professionals have a saying “abs are made in the kitchen not the gym”.
Appropriate diet and nutrition assures having a body we enjoy.
This is dependent on our physical fitness and diet which relies on the food we eat.
All the training over all those years, still carried extra weight around my midsection.
Nothing is “wrong” with this but it is not optimal for natural health and wellness.

It’s what happens to the body when we become overweight that I worry about.

We think the food we eat is “food.” That’s what we have been told, I didn’t know for years.
